How Does it Feel?
This was inspired by Quartz's page, on which she likens the experiences of the character Dick Solomon (Third Rock from the Sun) to the experiences of a high-functioning austistic or asperger's person. Even though that was not the intention of the show's creators, and Dick is, in fact, an alien.
In that spirit, here are some more characters who could probably relate to aspies, and whom aspies could probably relate to, atleast in some aspects.
Amelie

from the movie of the same name
As a child, Amelie didn't attend school, and most of her friends were imaginary, and most of her play solitary.
Her world is still very small and she is not 100% grown-up. In her insecurity, she devises an elaborate game of near-missing her true love, whom she wants to meet, yet is not sure she wants to really meet.
Her romantic history is spotty--she couldn't keep boyfriends for very long, and hot and heavy sex brought only a bemused expression to her face.
Wilson

from Home Improvement
Wilson is a storehouse of esoteric knowledge...which is never fully understood by his neighbor, Tim, who does try...
See www.hyperlexia.org.
Cosmo Kramer

from Seinfeld
Seemingly oblivious to social norms (and that his clothes clash), he is unfazed. Also, Kramer's tics could be a sign of Tourette's Syndrome, which sometimes accompanies Asperger Syndrome.
Gonzo

from the Muppets
As the lone member of his species on this planet (see Oops, Wrong Planet Syndrome), Gonzo feels a keen sense of isolation and awkwardness.
Gonzo's tastes and interests are wildly different from those of the other muppets around him (chicken fetish???), but he is a very likeable eccentric.
Dudley

from the Royal Tenenbaums
Dudley has to deal with multiple learning disabilities, including poor spatial perception. (He is also colorblind. However, he has prodigious hearing.)
Dudley pretty much lives with the neurologist who studies him, Raleigh St.Clair.
Behind his odd gaze, Dudley is a gentle, albeit clueless, child, to whom Richie Tenenbaum owes his life.
You've got to watch the movie.
